The Advanced Fills and Grooves from last Thursday's lesson.

Right, first I just wanted to say how well you've all done this half of the term. The very fact that we can look at fills and grooves like this shows how far you've all come - this is hard sh%t!

The first groove we looked at is here :-

The Fill is below. Remember that the two lines are essentially the same fill - the top one is written as 16t notes over 1 bar, the one below as 8th notes over two bars - the same fill with the same sticking pattern.

Finally, here's a video of me playing the full track (Give Me Your Love - Tower of Power) - at the end of the track are the two grooves and the fill slowed down. Have a go and we'll go over it again in class.
